RCCG RAPAC ORGANISATIONAL PROFILE
The Redeemed AIDS Programme Action Committee (RAPAC) is a faith-based, leadership and resource development organisation with focus on providing resources, technical assistance, and quality assurance for holistic community development programmes within and beyond the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Since its establishment in 1998, RAPAC has been committed to providing services that ensure that RCCG members and persons within the Church and the host communities' live a healthy life. This is in tune with the RCCG's vision of ensuring the spiritual and physical prosperity of her congregation of over 10 million persons worldwide.
Our head Office is located at the Redemption Camp, Km 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
The Redeemed Aids Programme Action Committee (RAPAC) has a structure with solid administrative capacity on ground. The church General Overseer Pastor E.A Adeboye is the project executor and the Board of Governors/Trustees provide necessary support in all project interventions. RAPAC day to day activities is headed by the Program Director (PD) who oversees and coordinates all project activities and staff. She also builds the capacity of the staff and reports to the Board of Trustees.
Furthermore, the Senior Project Officer oversees the staff and reports to the Program Director who provides administrative back up and also ensures the smooth running of project activities on all project sites. The Programme staff (Program Officer and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer) except those in Account Department reports directly to Senior Project Officer. There are trained counselors both at the Headquarters and State level. Our Accountants collates and disburses funds and reports on the finance and reports directly to the PM. RAPAC have 18 full time staff (13 at the Headquarters and 5 at the in Lagos State office) and 14 volunteers.
With the active support and commitment of the General Overseer, who acts as the Project Executor, RAPAC has recorded significant success with its programmes and interventions aimed at reducing the spread of HIV in the Church and its host communities.
